About Me
Maybe I can’t play a rendition of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” like Jake Shimabukuro, but I still love playing the ukulele, as well as the guitar and piano. And, as much as I’d love to play all three at once, I’m still a human with only two arms (sadly), and thus I stick to playing one instrument at a time. My favorite things involve using creativity to express myself: (playing the previously mentioned guitar, ukulele, and piano), creating fun Halloween costumes, expressing myself through my clothing, and using visual art and design to express emotions or thoughts. By mixing my passion for visual expression with my ability to understand others, I believe I fulfill my purpose to help people and brands communicate their unique message most effectively.
In other words I am a visual translator.
My Inspirations
As someone who is constantly trying to learn about new things and grow as not only a creative, but an individual as well, I look towards others for inspiration. I especially find inspiration in creative works that seem a bit odd or bizarre as I believe that bizarreness reflects a person who has the confidence to express themselves in a unique way, and possesses the ability to open your mind to a new perspective. Below I have included examples of a couple of creative works from other individuals that inspire me and that I feel have helped shape me into the person I am now.
